US 98 Widening and Improvements

Halff was a prime subconsultant on the 1,090-day, $42.5 million SR 30 (US 98) reconstruction project, which widened this roadway from a four-lane rural to six-lane urban typical section.

The project also included four new detention ponds, conversion of drainage from open ditch to a closed system and six new mast-arm signalized intersections. Construction services have been provided such as inspection, reviewing daily reports, approving monthly pay estimates, generating work orders, evaluating and resolving construction issues, and coordinating with utility companies.
